3 Reasons NOT to Call the Listing Agent!




The listing agent on the sign works for the seller! They are paid by the seller to get the most money they can for the home and they are definately not going to tell you the bad features of the home or location of the house.

The listing agent will try to convince you they can write the offer for you and represent both parties. Don't do it. They are trying to double-end the deal and get the commission on both sides.

The seller has already agreed to pay the commission for you to have a separate agent represent you in the purchase. It doesn't cost you, the buyer, anything! In addition, you can save money and better negotiate if you have you own representation in the deal.


So remember . . . .

see a sign - call YOUR agent
see an ad - call YOUR agent
see a home you like - call YOUR agent
go into an open house - tell them you have an agent
